Inspired by the strip study on the previous page, for this third sculpture I decided that I was going to try to create a literal 3D version of my diagonal cut strip study using matte board. By doing this, I began to create a relief sculpture. I then added a photo texture to certain areas in order to add contrast within the work. To finish the project I decided to photoshop the sculpture into a park environment to imagine what it would look like if it were to be constructed on a real-life scale.
