sabon just my type exhibition

The Just My Type Exhibition is a fictional museum exhibition that showcases the historical background of eighteen influential typefaces. Each font has a poster display and a corresponding interactive booklet. Focusing in on Sabon, a typeface designed by Jan Tschichold was the first font that could be used for both monotype and linotype. The poster design encompasses the movement of linotype metal type. In addition, the booklet includes a flip book that better showcases the motion of type in a 2D sense. The booklet allows viewers to learn further about the found by including information about Tschichold, and both the linotype and monotype machines. The purpose of this exhibition is to educate about the historical context of typeface and better understand how type is derived.
