Travel stickers can be seen as a vintage staple in showcasing where travelers have visited, usually in a broader sense of cities, states, or countries. Typically they were placed on suitcases, but the travel sticker trend has started to fade. Recently a sticker fad has begun to arise among millenials with the introduction of RedBubble and local businesses using stickers as marketing strategies. I was interested in creating a more modern take of reinventing the ornate and detail orientated vintage stickers to be simplified and clean. The goal of the project was to develop cohesion between contemporary forms of of stickers with the inspiration of vintage uses.
